Is it worth getting a wok ? Does cooking in a wok at home make the food taste a lot different compared to a regular pan ?

I don't have a wok but I like to eat food

Not really unless you have huge open fire gas stove, but its easy to use if you cook one pot meals

I learned from my parents that a wok is more practical if you want to cook something mixed with rice, like grilled rice with other vegetables in it. But you can also make in a regular pan its just more difficult (espacially if you cook larger amounts of food). Besides this I dont know any difference

My dad sometimes brings me chinese food from a restaurant then i warm it up with a wok pan

No Pussy No Wok

I thought you made a typo but now I see you actually meant that asian big pan thing

Theyre made that shape so you could burn the fat on fire, giving it smoked taste, but on regular stove thats impossible to do. Still i like how easy is to mix food in it and everything gets done evenly by just shaking it. I would get one if i were you.

I don't know how to cook, I still live with my parents and in my family men are not supposed to cook or do house tasks.

Hmm, i have a regular electric stove, so i guess getting one isnt worth it, since i already have large, regular pans

You should learn it, later in life you wont have a wife or gf cooking for you

I oppose to that, I believe men should never do anything at home and foids shouldn't be allowed to have a job, that's true balance, unfortunately I'm a truecel and times have changed
