Nobody can be Muslim because it's very hard to be completely sin free, but I understand. There is no compulsion in Islam so you're free to do what you want. To answer your question: yes, I am from an Islamic background. And yes, arranged marriages happen, but an arranged marriage doesn't mean a forced marriage, which is what a lot of low IQ people believe. In Islam, there is no such thing as a forced marriage because in order for your marriage to be Islamically valid, both the woman and man have to agree to the marriage, as well as their respective guardians. Otherwise you aren't married. So an arranged marriage is certainly no option for me because I'm ugly.

yes there are sins, but as long as they are not Shirk major, you are Muslim and Allah will forgive all (EXCEPT SHIRK).
