Theory Question: Is it natural or instinctual for girls to not like glasses? (Unless its chad)

I am curious about this... It has occurred to me its probably not just the nerd stereotype. I am guessing its probably instinctive for girls to find guys with glasses unattractive or repulsive, like there's just something about glasses that women really just dont like.

Its probably inferior genes and bad eyesight sight. So I do wonder if its more the nerd stereotype or if its more that it just signals bad genes.

My best guess is that myopia is not generally regarded as a strong indicator of low genetic quality in mate selection, because its prevalence is strongly influenced by environmental factors such as increased screen time and urban living rather than overall genetic fitness.

Many guys don't like women with glasses either. It's not the nerd stereotype, and maybe not signaling bad genes either. For some people glasses just look bad.
Of course all of this matters very little, as others have said. Your bones are much more important than your glasses.

And, as several users have already noted, whether glasses are perceived as a "halo" or a "failo" depends on who is wearing them: unattractive individuals who wear glasses are more likely to be perceived as dorky, whereas attractive individuals are more likely to be viewed as conscientious and intelligent.
