Deluge started fucking over me by giving me abysmal download speeds. I noticed the peers list showing a lot of clients on qBittorrent. And what do you know, putting the same torrent on qBittorrent myself multiplied my download rate.

only issue is that it doesn't update, u have to download the installer every time a new update comes out

What's wrong with regular uTorrent?
There were reports that utorrent runned miners, addwares and bloatwares in the background for some users and it also doesnt have virus protection implemented while downloading, while qbit does have.

I tried to torrent a large game and my cucked isp sent me a letter. So from now I have to use a vpn.

What do you mean by "virus protection", sounds like it would block cracked software (keygens, cracks, patches, etc) if I tried to download using it?

I dont think so, im downloading cracked software just fine by qbit torrent. Maybe its a hoax because people hate it, i dont see how its different from other torrent clients except the advertisement on it.

I think I'll stick to utorrent. I've been using it for years with no problems. Plus pretty soon (well, in a few years) I'll no longer need to use torrents anyways.

I use BitTorrent, i have had no problems so far with it so far. Since im on a tight budget i will probably always need it for new media that comes out.

Yes
Been using it for years

Yeah I ditched it after the controversies

It has a documented history of invasive ads, installing malware through ads and running a crypto miner
It's simply not trustworthy overall

Was it a recent game?
Recent movies and games can be especially dangerous in that regard.

It doesn't have any kind of virus protection.
Torrenting is simply peer to peer file sharing.
Which sources you are supposed to trust is up to you.

:feelswhere:
What's the implication here?
