All the Ukrainians need to do is improve their military skills. They need to reach a war rate where they lose one soldier and the enemy loses 10 soldiers in return. Then they can continue for a long time. I also don't understand why the Ukrainians need to attack. Those who attack always lose at least three times more people than those who are on the defensive. They just need to mine the territory and build fortifications, then retreat and destroy enemy waves of soldiers.
