This link in the video kinda brings back memories of somthing I want to tell about a incident involving guns. Thankfully with me it was no were near as dumb or bad as this story I linked. Also please excuse typing fuck ups since Im drunk as I type this. But this video gave me a flash back of a accident between me and guns.

So for reference I own a 22 pistol and snap caps along with ammo. Ive own it for a couple years now. But heres a important detail. The snap caps are silver and the normal ammo is brass. One day I bought my dad a different 22 pistol and he decided to get his own 22 ammo. 2 days before I left virginia (I lived there for 5 years) I was talking with my dad, fucking with his guns. I fucked with his 22 pistol. Now remember when I said I had silver snap caps? My dad bought live 22 ammo that was entirely silver and I thought they too were snap caps. So I thought I should dry fire the pistol and prevent spring wear on the hammer mechinism. BANG!!!!

Thankfully I pointed it at a mostly safe direction. Specifically I aimed diagnall downwards to his bed. Point it at a safe direction witch thank god I remembered that rule and thank god I didn't point it at others like a retard. Because that could've killed someone. My ears rang for 20 minutes straight. It was a 22 bullet that got lost somwere in my dads mattress. And if you wondering why I was in his room he leaves the door open and treats his room as a 2nd living room. He kinda understood it was a mistake. Told me not to tell anyone about it. But the point still stands. Always point guns at a safe direction. I thought I was about to dry fire the gun. Aprently the fuck not. I pocked a hole through his mattress. But for fuck sake dont point a gun at someone because it could be loaded and then you'll end up like these retards to the video that made me want to type this thread. Treat guns like there loaded no matter what. Because they always could be.

burgercel problem mostly, we slaves outside of US can't own guns

Thankfully, i know how to handle guns, and won't end up in trouble like the fool in the vid

If i get a gun I'd shoot myself immediately

Lucky you didn't hurt yourself or anyone else. Also lucky there was no major damage. I have target practiced with a few different guns over the years, and luckily did everything safely. The bigger rounds will go right through a 2x4 board, but the boards stop a .22 round.

Based thread

I think this also goes for pointy sharp objects too

They will not always be as lethal but its also unnecessary injury, I am always very cautious with a knife or any pointy object and its never pointed in anyones direction

Constantly reminded of this video :feelskek:

My country is quite safe and no-one owns a gun so yeah.

There is no reason to own one

Rule #1
All guns are always loaded

I shot through a lot of 2x4s with 22lr. Ofc they were very old and weathered boards..

but ive also shot 22s and they've mostly bounced off a board! (Some barely stuck) I know a dude that thinks its a good choice for self defense lol!

Some 22lr/ss with blow up a mouse but not scratch the table it was on... (CCI subsonic pre segmented hollow points)

Interesting. The 22lrs I have used at target practice would go deep in a strong and non rotten 2x4. Only 22 I would think wouldn't do much damage is the 22 air rifle pellets. But, I agree, larger caliber is better for self defense. Still though, I certainly wouldn't treat it like a non threat if someone had a 22lr pointed at me!

Air rifles are slower and lighter projectile's.

But most non gov killings are done with 22lr. (Because it's the most common)

I heard stories about niggers with 10 9mm in them and they lived. I have also heard stories about a school kid shooting an adult with one 22 and killing them. So, its a pretty random thing. Unless you get lucky.

No guarantees. Except with a shotgun!

Yep. Never underestimate smaller calibers. Too many people at shooting ranges and hunting small game animals seem to act like a 22 is a toy. Those idiots couldn't be further from the truth

My buddy has a shitty German 22 short handgun. They were popular in the 70s until folks started testing them on boards! Lol. Literally a $25 gun...

Only $25, damn. How times have changed with inflation.

Some people (scum) use 22lr on deer!

I quit my (super cool) training job when them gdmf kids kept pointing there pistols at me! 10 free acres wasn't worth the risk.

Yeah, that's horrible. The chance of it hurting the deer and not finishing it are so high. And it could die a slow and horrible death. Those bastards are evil.

Based. Not worth getting shot by some kid over

That's if you can find someone dumb enough to buy it. Lol. Those are almost toys. (Except for eye shots.)

tbh nothing personal but your dad should've fucking mutilated your balls. If I was your dad, you're never going to touch anything that has metal in it ever again for mine and your own sake.

Its strange 22s will do that considering the reason why i owned a 22 pistol personally was for ninja shit. Because how well they suppress. But what made me choose it over a 9mm was a video on how Jews use it as a common assasination pistol.

Yeah it was by Jew fags. But just because I despise em deosmt mean there always dumb. 22s can and have killed. Its why I picked it as my pistol. For FN502 with a Tacticle Solutions Aries Silencer. Cool shit.

Good thing your not a dad. Also I pointed the gun in a safe direction. Yeah the trigger choice was not a good Idea. But I made sure it didnt point at somone. Only thing harmed was the mattress witch can be covered up with new bed sheets.

Again nothing personal, I did exaggerate but I think he really should've taken a measure as a punishment. instead it felt like your dad just gave you a pat on the back because it was "just an accident"

Thats a 22 short? You should shoot boards with it.

Back in the Late 1800s they figured anything that would go through a inch of pine board would kill a man. I was mostly shooting the 22 short at oak boards... So that was probably why they bounced. But they didn't even go fully into a 2x4. You could see the bottom of the bullet....

Anyway, the 22 short was popular with whores became they were very close range last ditch tiny guns... And a eye shot could kill....

So as cool looking as that gun is. It might bounce off a rib.

But if it was 22lr subsonic, it would be better. But far less quiet.

Appearantly, thats a 22lr. So it's fine.

You might want to get some
They rip right through a 2x4 and tumble! Makes a big long hole!

However, they are pure lead and very dirty (powder) Mexican bullets. but they tumble!

Small problem, my 22 is a pistol. I dont think itll be a accuracy edge with that type of ammo. That and the extra bullet contact with the barrel will wear out the rifleing. Yeah 22 rifle-ing will last forever but not so much for with that type of 22

It's solid lead with a waxy lube, not metal jacketed. It's just dirtier because of that, and the Mexican powder.

A better reason to not use it is the shorter case length. it's like a 22 short case with a longer bullet to = a 22lr sized package. Thus, the potential for "chamber burn."

It's primary benefit is the lack of stability due to today's looser rifling. It makes it more like how a early Vietnam era 5.56 m16 bullet that used to tumble and bounce around. - due to it's lack of stability....

The extra mass gives it more penetration and momentum at longer ranges....

It's a little known ammo. Good for larger stuff like wild dogs and feral pigs that you want to run off and die somewhere else.

I used to be a 22 ammo expert long before the Obama years. When 22 drought came and ruined my side biz of reselling it.

All the gun stores had mounds of 22s because no one could find ammo... They shifted to larger calbres.

The newest CCI pre segmented hollow points are very odd behaving bullets.

A subsonic will blow up a mouse or rat and not have and energy left to damage whatever is behind it...

However, a full strength 22lr pre segmented hollow points will not penetrate a orange, and will only "take a huge bite" out of it!

But either one will only expand (explode!) on a wet target. They both will go through wood, sheet iron, or drywall.

It's fascinating!

There's a newer high velocity "velocitor?" That has a heavy fully jacketed, yet "hollow head area" that mashes and makes it a bigger bullet on impact. It turns into a 32 on impact.

22 Shotshells are a joke

Best 22 ammo for ninja shit? Like what you see in splinter cell or hitman?

Whats chamber burn? Know that the bullet is wax coated make me want one for reasons that dont need explaining. AKA ninja shit.

Ninja shit is quiet(ER) ammo, that doesn't mean it's better, just quieter.

With a 22 what you need most is penetration. Hence heavier solid bullets. 9mm and faster bullets will go right through stuff (and cause less hydrologic shock), so hollow points are better.

The chamber holds the cartridge. There's a lip on the end of it that is sized to perfectly hold the ammo.

Short cartridge ammo, explodes before the lip. Potentially burning the chamber area.

The wax is cheaper and longer lasting way to protect the lead from oxidation during storage. Oil is far better, as a lube. But doesn't last as long.

Im kinda stuck on 22 since my only silencer is for 22lr. That and its 3 inches so Im stuck with subsonics. But those 60 grain rounds are worth a try now thinking about it.

They are very "low" sounding. But almost like black powder in filth... So, I hope you enjoy cleaning!

Worth a try. You might really like them. I do.
