So I use poco x6 this phone is equipped with snapdragon 7s gen2 processor.

Which is actually more powerful than the modern ps2 look at the specs of ps2 below .


Now I don't have a problem with emulating games my phone is powerful enough .

But the aethersx2 cuck team dev roped after getting criticised to lower the system requirements

Emulating an entire another hardware requires much more power, but yeah if it was a decent emulator you would be able to play it full speed no problem. That emulator was abandoned long time ago. I remember when my brother bought his first pc, it was an old AMD 64 5000+ dual core, which is much stronger than real PS2, but PCSX2 was in earlier stage back then. It needed both stronger machine and optimization.

The PS2 is hard to emulate and all AetherSX2 is is a port of PCSX2 to Android.

You cant really emulate PS2 without being slow due to Sony using a cucked implementation of floating-point math and the weird system architecture of the PS2.

I guess he quit because he couldn't handle the low IQ children from Latin America trying to play his emulator on their shitty $80 phones and harassing him about it.

It is not a 1:1 mapping of hardware requirements, one instruction on a PS2 could take between tens and thousands on your PC or Phone depending on how well optimized the emulator is. PCSX2 is already well optimized.
