Let a,b,c, and d be positive real numbers other than 1. We have that log of d in the base a, log of d in the base b and log of d in the base c are consecutive terms of a geometric progression and that a, b and c form an arithmetic progression where a < b < c

knowing that b = b to the power of (log of b in the base a) -a, determine:

a) The values of a, b and c

b) The ratios of the arithmetic and geometric progressions, r and q, respectively.
