Area B- The area of the intersection of the two circles
Area C- The area of the white circle
The total area= Area A-Area B -Area C
For Area A and C you just use pir^2
For Area B (the only hard bit )you can calculate half of B by forming a shape which excludes half of B and is form from a triangle and 2/3 of the circle
