Theory Pressure on men in relationships

I think it's easy to overlook how much more pressure is on the man... even within a totally healthy relationship.

Like... the woman can be unable to drive and it's fine, have all kinds of issues and it's fine... she can basically just kind of coast along and depend on the man if she wants.

That's WAY HARDER for a man to do. We just wouldn't get away with it.

I think that pressure is definitely an obstacle for me. It means the tiniest flaws and issues you have suddenly feel like a big deal.

It isn't easy to be the "rock", especially when you're very much an adult and the pressures of life are fully on.

The most annoying thing is how we don't even really get credit for this.

Like... my sister is doing better than me in terms of relationship and stuff. But she has these massive unfair advantages! lol

Which would be fine but... nobody ever really acknowledges them. They act like we're "competing" on the same grounds.
