Hearing relatives and people pray in general increased my cortisol and I have to put in earplugs just to endure through this. Why are you praying for salvation and for some mystical figure to save you and bring you prosperity. I don't need anybody praying for me I'm doing perfectly fine and you getting on your knees and whispering a few words isn't going to turn my life around suddenly.
I see people ritualistically praying every day. I don't like to say mental illness as it is subjective and just because it doesn't align with my values doesn't mean there is something wrong with you, but people do what people do, I guess it makes them feel better and the types of people who do this are the most bluepilled best lifers on this planet who've never had to worry since everything always works out for them so this is their way of continuing to make themselves feel special by imagining a force watching over them to guide them through life. Delusion.
