All stealth games cause depression, because even in the game you understand your place and have to act covertly, since you cannot defeat the enemy in an open battle, so you hide in hiding and hit from the enemy's back.

gta 3 must be the game where you play as the most lonely man ever in videogames. GTA 4 comes very close to this. But in 3 you're a true loner

-Mass Effect 3 can get depressing at times specially some NPC dialogues and sidequests.
-Fallout 3 everything is so destroyed and lifeless (way more than the other Fallout games where society has rebuilt), the green filter doesn't help.
-Rule of Rose has that dark gloomy feeling through all the game.
