Well I don't do "anime" but recently I binge watched The Dragon Prince with my little niece and nephew. I unironically loved it and had a great time just chilling with these kids in front of TV.

It has this beautiful virgin romance between the older prince and the elf assassin who was part of the squad that killed his stepfather the king, and was meant to get him too... as he gradually realizes that all of his extended family are terrible and it's up to him and the elf to overcome their treachery and save the world.

This was an unexpected milestone for me too, a few years ago I would have been sent melancholy AF by anything that had teen love in it. But this was so wholesome, I found it impossible to get mad about.
