I'm trying to get into gaming some more with my hp office pc, here's spexs:

I got a nice 512gb ssd
2nd intel core processeur
I recently overpaid for a boxed gt 1030 sadly, but the contrast from the shit intel hd i tegrapted gpu to the nvidia card is vast, I no longer need to set low res and low settings in TF2 (im hyperfixated on one game currently)

what old games should i get on my pc?

I like story games and FPS, however the only online fps game I like is Team Fortress 2 due to it's class changing so I can never suck at it, I tried counter strike 2 it took a bit to download nearly 70gb but I sucked so hard at it, Not really into multiplayer shooters

You can try HL1 series, or run HL2 (should work on your pc). I liked Neverwinter Nights a lot as RPG.
GTA3/Vice City.

Also never forget emulators exists:
nes/snes/sega will run.
you can try DS emulator and turn your monitor 90 degrees it has amazing collection of games. Phoenix Wright for example.

if you're not afraid of visual novels then almost all of these will run. When they cry for example. But that mostly clicking through text

I did not play gamecube and wii is pointless unless you use original controller.

DS games I like:

Phoenix Wright series - great scenario if you will to go through text
Final Fantasy Tactics Advance - tactical game, Final fantasy flavored
Contra 4 (Arguably best of series) - run and gun. If you liked Contra as a child, that's a nice twist.
Kirby Mass Attack (I doubt it's playable in emulator. Gameplay is very much bound to controls.
Professor Layton - puzzles, love it or hate it.

But amount of ROMS for this thing is endless. There are huge amounts of retro games remakes.

Play Factorio. It is a phenomenal game and it ran fine on my old ThinkPad (at least the base game did with modestly sized bases).
