Despite surpassing the minimum requirements, I still get strange FPS drops and lag spikes during combat. I guess I'll just send some abusive messages to my parents and blame them for never getting me diagnosed with autism or whatever else I have wrong with me. I could literally afford the recommended specs in one months worth of PIP disability payments, but noooooo not our son :) Fucking niggers.

Judging by the steam reviews that seems like a common issue. Hopefully they get a patch out to fix it.

Not that I'm going to be playing Elden ring anytime soon because my fucking PC still doesn't work:reeeeee::reeeeee::reeeeee:
 
PCs run games like shit unless you are well above the min specs. At the end of the day, PCs just aren't optimised for games (or maybe vice versa). It's why my 300 dollar Xbox Series S potato console can run many games better than my more expensive PC, because it is a specialised, dedicated machine. Yeah I'm not getting 4K fucking unicorn rainbow graphics but I run games well enough.

Also why is there so much hype for this Elden Ring game isn't it just another Dark Souls basically?

I fucking hope so. Game feels like shit anyway. Running at 60 FPS but as soon as I attack a boss or enemy it drop to 30 which definitely is an optimization issue on their end.

It's far worse than dark souls imo. I only played for 40 minutes but the bosses are made to be fought on a mount which is just disgusting, completely defeats the feel of the souls games.

I don't know what "Elden Ring" is. In my childhood and teens, I could never play popular games since I never had access to a mid/high-end computer.
 
I watched gameplays, the sky is trash, fonts are puke inducing, when the player moves the vegtation doesnt move, the enemy monsters are weird, dungeons and caves are empty or seems pretty empty.overall 5/10 still better than death stranding.

I feel this. I've got tons of that i've purchased and never played like Hades, Ni no kuni, Zelda Botw, and God eater 3. I just don't have the motivation to play games anymore

Don't need a high-end computer to enjoy video games.
2D games are the best.
3D games can be good but in my opinion beautiful graphics spoils video games, they remove imagination from it, they need always more powerful computers, they need bigger teams to make and they have more bugs, and they remove from the gameplay to allow for better graphics. Can't have 1000 cars on the screen if they are all 3d rendered with all bells and whitles.
Dwarf fortress is gigachad game for high IQ truecels.
Minecraft was good (before normies took it) because it traded graphics for gameplay, while still being more than decent graphically. And the guy wrote it in java this dork, imagine if it was written in a compiled language with no garbage collector like C or C++, like the bedrock edition (if i'm correct).

Im getting 25 fps in cutscenes and 15-20 in game. My processor is Ryzen 1600, maybe he is the bottleneck but doubt it.

With popular crypto like Ethereum falling down massively, GPU prices will follow suit. There is going to be a huge surplus of cards when the new generation of RTX and Navi cards are released near the end of the year. This will be the perfect time to upgrade your card.

lol bro u give it a 5/10 based on gameplay u watched, the game is unironically fantastic and will very likely be the best game released this year. u ain't even play the game and complain about legitimate things, ur hating just to hate, i get it tho cuz i'm the same way but this game is undeniably amazing

Only some of them have mounted combat in mind but you can 100% approach them on foot. You likely got your ass kicked by the horseback boss at the start and came to the conclusion that all bosses are the same jfl. The vast majority of the dungeon bosses don’t even allow horseback combat.

Plays 40 minutes and calls a game trash jfl :feelskek:

kinda agree. I dropped it at 1/2 way point. Game is interesting seeing all the new scenery and stuff. It is also pretty open and rewards exploration than most. But the dungeons have no story behind them, or u get like 3 sentences of dialogue from an NPC/Boss. I normally play games for story and this one doesn't have a meaty one, almost no story at all. I just ended up watching someone else go thru all the bosses and endings that I didn't instead of doing it myself. Combat got boring for me 20 or so hours in.

game is good for reflex action junkies and people who want to test their will power and persistence. But if u want story, top tier graphics (horizon zero Dawn), chill game. Then this isn't it. My final rating would be 6.5/10 for me.

Horizon: Zero Dawn is liberal, art student fantasy about matriarchal, primitive society. It sickening how they believe that in state of nature women will hunt animals and men will pick flowers and other grass. This game is filled with feminist agenda, you don't even have to look far, just you look at the sequel were, they made Aloy bitch, even uglier and fatter, also they added facial hair to her model, because "every women has it :soy:"

yes the bitch and the characters are ugly. But the environment and enemies are good looking aesthetically.

Yeah, just wanted to say that i can't recommend this game in good faith, soyniggers are by far most feminists games out there. I understand why you would wanna play it when video games are your copes, there aren't many new games that are agenda free, but some of them are so blant with thier propaganda, that you can't even ignore it if you want to.

I do normally play jap games to avoid the globohomo shit but I can only do so many anime jrpgs before it gets repetitive and I need to take a break for a year too
