Polish child obesity numbers scaling fastest in Europe
Nutrition experts say one in five kids in Poland is overweight and its child obesity numbers are growing faster than their European peers.

Experts at the Institute of Food and Nutrition said on Wednesday Polish children’s waistlines have been expanding due to lack of physical activities and bad eating habits, especially excessive consumption of fat, sugar and salt.
They added in the 1970s, less than 10 percent of students had excessive body fat. Currently, one in five kids of school age is overweight or obese.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) 2017 report, 14 percent of girls and almost 20 percent of boys in Poland are overweight. The reports says child obesity has been on a “slow but continuous increase” in the past 40 years in Poland .
It's truly over if you're polish.
