Based asf. OG gold and silver were so good. Making me really want to spend my money and revisit HGSS again. I missed out/skipped that time in particular, I was probably broke and knee deep in weed and alcohol copes.

I preordered HeartGold back in the day. I still have my copy but I'm missing the larger box for it. The GameStop I pre-ordered it at never gave me the pre-order Ho-Oh figurine as well. Logged probably 150+ hours on HeartGold, I loved that game to death as a kid.

The Pokewalker was a cool idea, but I lived in Texas where the temperature is constantly over 100F for the majority of the summer, so I barely used it.

I had the original Gold version when it came out and I liked it. But as an adult, I am not a fan of the real time clock (since I play video games at the same time everyday, it locks me out of content unnecessarily) and rehashing Kanto, a region I already explored in red/blue.
