Dying light is free on steam this weekend and I haven't played it in 7 years so i said fuck it why not. Brocels its awesome to beat the ever living fuck out of these foid zombies. Dead srs taking a pipewrench to the dome of a whore in a bikini is so cathartic Especially when you get the little animation where you see the bones break its so satisfying lol I have been running around drop kicking whores in the stomach off of a bridge i fuckin love this shit

maybe this was when you could buy the game as a standalone? That doesn't even appear to be possible anymore, I can't find an individual entry for it, only getting it via packages

maybe they removed the individual sale so steam DB record of free distro would not show up?

Enhanced Edition is on sale right now at -60% and SteamDB is saying -60% is the lowest discount it's ever had (apparently it's done -60% a total of seven times since November 2021, must happen pretty often)

my guess is they're doing this to promote sales of Dying Light 2 (ie nobody's going to buy that if they haven't played the first)

the company's preceding Dead Island games also on sale, I bought them just now to try out first



almost seems like a double discount, like the individual components have -70% and then -60% applied to the sum

considering buying the basic "enhanced edition" for $14, though it's only another 3 (17) for the "definition edition" which ahs more featured (not sure how imprtant)

definitive has everything in enhanced plus a lot of DLC

there's also a DLC collection for another 13 dollars but it seems to overlap a lot with the definitive

ah fuck it I'llbuy the infinitive I'm in a dark mood lately and need zombies

okay so I jsut bought the definitive and I was right, it's a better deal to buy that for 17 than to buy enahnced for 14 and the DLC pack for 13 (total 27) you save 10 bucks

only 2 items are in the DLC collection absent in the definitive and they're both free add-ons anyway

You enjoying the game? I had fun while it lasted but then got bored like with most of the vidya i own. i heard the 2nd dying light is not nearly as good as it the first one. Oh well. Also you said you were looking into chivalry. Chivalry 2 is leagues better than the first but its only on the epic games store, however its on sale currently so
