I remember years back PS2 games lagged on my laptop, which was a core 2 duo. Later Switch emulation lagged on my desktop PC, r5 1600 and GTX 1060.

Recently I bought a used Xiaomi Mi 10T pro for about 110 eur.

All PS2 games I tried run smoothly and perfect at 2x internal resolution and fxaa. Switch I tried 2, Zelda didn't boot and the other one runs great, constant 30 fps. Most likely graphic heavy games will run shitty or not at all, but as my motherboard died, I'm happy that I can play 2d or less demanding games.

Emulators used are Ppss22 and Citron.

Nice, emulating old games is a great cope.

touch screen is garbage so i connected a controller 2 my phone, do the same if you have one

Just use Bluetooth controller

I have a gamesir x2s gamepad, very high quality and I got it brand new for a bit over 35 eur. It makes phone look like switch.
I have an iPhone mini and its screen is really tiny so even if I try to use a switch like controller on it will be awful. It's much better to just emulate on a modern laptop or MacBook and connect a controller
