Juniorprofessur - Hat man als Spätstarter und so gut wie kaum Berufserfahrung gute Chancen nach einer Promotion (in BWL) eine Stelle zu finden, falls man so um die 37 Jahre alt wird nach dem Ende der Promotion? Ich hätte Interesse, im Bereich Personalmanagement als Juniorprofessor...

As a late starter and with almost no professional experience, do you have a good chance of finding a job after a doctorate (in business administration) if you turn around 37 after completing your doctorate? I would be interested in joining the Human Resource Management department as a junior professor. I can't show top grades, but I'm still in the good range. Otherwise, I can also imagine a job in the private sector, but that is also questionable, since consulting and GS management is not really my thing.

Ngl when you’re a PhD why not just stay in the academia? If I had the patience to make it through doctorate I wouldn’t even want to leave the ivory tower
