I don't know why women try to pretend that personality matters to them (for picking a romantic partner). Maybe for LTR it factors in a lot more, but for raw "I wanna fuck" attraction it is meaningless.

That's what normies don't get. They don't realise that in order to pass the first hurdle, looks are the only thing that matters. Once you can pass that do other stuff like personality come into account. In other words, if you're ugly you're fucked no matter what else.
Probably so when they marry for $$$ down the line, they can keep up the facade that they are attracted to their mediocre-looking husbands.
