I honestly believe that all the complaint from Zoomers about "muh economy" is cope for their sexual poverty. Statistically, we are better off today in every material regard than we were in the past. You can buy a supercomputer for two-weeks wage on a minimum wage salary, and this super-computer can deliver you more information than top Pentagon officials had in the 1990s. GMOs and advanced fertilizer has made food practically free (Costco), and FinTech has made investing and asset acquisition easier than ever before. So why are people complaining? Why is the typical zoomer still complaining about how much easier the boomers had it?

Whether they realize it or not, the answer is the SEXUAL MARKETPLACE. They FEEL impoverished because despite their material affluence, they can't attract a girlfriend, they feel low-status. If these same zoomers all had loyal Beckys beside them, they'd feel richer than ever before. Nothing makes a man feel more impoverished and low status than lack of female attention.

I had this thought when my cousin was bitching at Joe Biden during a family gathering, he said:

My cousin is a doctor, doctors pull about 200k a year after taxes, my cousin has a Stacylite, I've never once heard him make a peep about money.

Because some junk appliances got cheaper? They are cheaper because they are set for planned obsolescence anyways. You will cycle trough more toasters than your parents did, and you wont be inheriting your current washing machine to your kids. None of those are enough to offset the cost increase of a real big ticket item like a house or education or a car(which have been soaring in cost lately).

Health insurances? Those with which the pockets of americans are STILL getting gutted? The American healthcare is custom tailored to siphon this money to the rich via over inflated costs due to absence of regulation.

You don't need to buy a house, you only need to rent one, and income-to-rent ratios have remained the same. In fact, taking out a mortgage to buy a house is such a risky investment and loads you up with so much debt that you should be thankful that's no longer an option. There's way better ways to build wealth than gambling and borrowing money to invest. Today you have options markets, you can buy stocks and sell them within minutes on FinTech exchanges like Robinhood.

From my understanding the State pays for your heathcare if you're poor - upper middle class. The American healthcare industry is so heavily regulated they basically sell products at marginal cost. If you're rich enough to afford healthcare anyway, then the State won't subsidize it.
