especially when these same people bring up some shady shit a famous person did 10 years ago

they’ve lived such insulated, consequence free lives that morality becomes a hobby instead of a survival tool

when you’ve never had to make ugly tradeoffs, never had to choose between bad and worse, it’s easy to sit back and judge everything in hindsight

morality for them isn’t about understanding context or growth

it’s about signaling superiority

they weaponize the past because it’s safe

digging up a decade old mistake costs them nothing

no risk, no nuance, no empathy required

it’s just “look how clean i am compared to you”

meanwhile if you actually grew up in chaos, pressure, instability, or scarcity, you know people aren’t static

people adapt, fuck up, learn, harden, soften. but that reality ruins their little purity fantasy

it’s also funny how selective it is

they only care when it’s socially rewarded

the same people will ignore current harm if calling it out would cost them status, friendships, or comfor

but a famous person that did something 10 years ago HAHAHAHAHAHA

easy target

free moral points

obsession with moral posturing is just another class marker

it’s a luxury belief

only people who’ve never had their back against the wall think the world runs on clean narratives, perfect victims, and permanent guilt

subhumans understands that survival, power, and environment shape behavior far more than whatever neat moral code they bitch about

Tbh. I think a lot of it comes from boredom/purposelessness so people try to feel like they’re fighting for something by being moralfags

Well written post .

People use morality to signal superiority and also to virtue signal .
