A great example of this is how this forum views the Tate brothers. Are they redpill cucks? Yes. Scammers? Yes. Have they taken shots at us? Yes. But at the same time, they breathed new life into the manosphere, and they’re the reason a lot of young men woke up. Someone like Andrew Tate is an awful end point, but a great starting point, and I’ve seen firsthand quite a few accounts from newer users of this forum who claim their pipeline started with him or similar figures.

Though I’m not part of the online right, I can’t help but see parallels in how they view Nick. Sure, the guy has denied the whiteness of Slavs, claimed “hating brown people is Jewish,” and shat on WNs, but the work he’s done to shift the Overton window cannot be understated. He was literally on Piers Morgan talking about Jewish influence and white replacement recently.

People need to understand that you can’t turn a normie gigablackpilled in one day. They need to start somewhere comfy and ride the current to us. I’m not saying we shouldn’t criticize the worldview put forth by Tate, etc., cause obviously we need to challenge it in order to get people to come around to agreeing with us, but we should give such figures a little more credit and not viciously seethe at them just cause they’re controlled plants

Motivation doesn’t matter as much as impact in this case. An insincere guy who actually shifts the conversation and radicalizes people is more useful than a sincere guy who can’t influence anyone

It’s not uniform. I recall @Sasukecel and @Paladin for instance saying they started with Scamza (who’s even more “ImpRoOvE bRo!” focused than Tate) and yet they aren’t problem users.

I think the type of people you’re describing are more likely to end up on .org than here. Former RPers here are the kind who got disillusioned with RP, not the kind who interpret BP through an RP lens

That’s why it’s important for our spaces to be secured before we infiltrate others.
