Im sick of this performative 'adulthood' where people treat life like a checklist designed by someone else. They literally measure success by promotions, mortgages, and social approval etc and then have the nerve to scrutinize anyone who isn’t playing along. It’s like everyone’s become a moral police/ hall monitor constantly up someone else's business as if they are teachers at kindergarten lecturing others about how you should structure your foundation of life in terms of values, morals. These people can’t just live their own lives somehow. They have to peer over the fence, judge your choices, and act like their borrowed values are a gospel. When will NPC's understand thay we're sovereign beings. If your version of adulthood means clocking everyone else’s life, playing along with what's deemed normal in todays society, constantly correcting others instead of building your own, constantly up someone else's business then you're really pathetic. Talking about those 30-40yo's or sometimes even 50 who type comments like 'oh there must be something wrong with this person, cause this concept is foreign to me'. Just sick of it. Seems like most people are narcissists who suffer from main character syndrome where they think everything revolves around them and their own bubble, and thus they project their own rules onto someone else.
Pathetic nobodies honestly, yet they think they are superior and above everyone else. I see it constantly. Even in one youtube short where this law enforcement officer off duty 'corrected' the behavior of another one's son who seemed to be in an argument with his mom on the bus. 'YoU DonT TALK To yOuR M0M liKE THAT, yoU kNoW wHaT RESPECT is, kid?' All I can think of is shut the hell up, some day you'll have the wrong one in front of you and he knocks you out and rightfully so. A real disciplined law enforcement officer would have glanced over, come to the conclusion that it's not his to deal with but a mom and kid arguing > and went on with his day. But no, let's moral police around town and score some attention and validation 'boohoo look at me'. It angers me so much, why can't they stay in their own lane and mind their own business? There is nothing genuine about their behavior, seems more so to revolve around them wanting to be in the spotlight, grab the attention etc. It's all performative.
