There isn't any conflict with literal by-the-book pedophilia because Muhammad waited until Aisha hit puberty (albeit perhaps a year or two earlier than usual) at 9 years old before he fucked her.
Though apparently
nine lunar years could be eight gregorian years in which case I guess he might've married her at 5 and fucked her at 8. It's still not impossible to start puberty that early (Lina Medina) but is rarer and stretches the imagination further.
But it is hypocrisy if they then go and say it's pedophilia to want to fuck fuck mid-pubescent girls, because their prophet MOST CERTAINLY DID fuck a mid-pubescent girl. There's no way you could be FINISHED puberty at 9 years old.
But for argument's sake (because lots of foids don't start puberty until 10/11/12/13) let's say that they were full of shit and Aisha hadn't actually began puberty yet.
EVEN THEN... if Muhammad had fucked a pre-pubescent wife, that wouldn't necessarily make his mindset pedophilia, because that requires sustained preference for pre-pubescents. Not merely fucking them. IE how guys cope by being faggots in prison but would still prefer to fuck women.
He COULD have been, because we do know that Aisha is rumored to be his 'favorite' wife... but that supposedly sustained until she was 18 when he died (definitely not pre-pubescent then) so it could simply be more of a "I prefer whichever of my wife is youngest, even if she's started or finished puberty" rather than "she's only fave because she hasn't bled yet".
Aisha being fave doesn't mean she was fave due to age though. Apparently she was clever or something. It's kind of objectifying (and anti-feminist) to assume that the main reason a guy might prefer a girl is just due to her physical characteristics and not her personality.
Pretty sure it was more than a single hadith.
This is hard to find on Wikipedia though because they just cite a bunch of books we don't have free access too which in turn probably cited the hadith directly.
this section tries to get more specific like that, though I don't know how much trust you would put in WikiIslam.Net, it's at least a place to begin finding names of stuff to check elsewhere.
Sahih Bukhari appears to be the most specific. It's author appears to be
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_al-Bukhari
Was this the guy you were calling mentally ill? I'm hoping you could be more specific about this criticism and where you heard it and who spoke it.
58/234:
Narrated Aisha:
The Prophet (ﷺ) engaged me when I was a girl of six (years). We went to Medina and stayed at the home of Bani-al-Harith bin Khazraj. Then I got ill and my hair fell down. Later on my hair grew (again) and my mother, Um Ruman, came to me while I was playing in a swing with some of my girl friends. She called me, and I went to her, not knowing what she wanted to do to me. She caught me by the hand and made me stand at the door of the house. I was breathless then, and when my breathing became Allright, she took some water and rubbed my face and head with it. Then she took me into the house. There in the house I saw some Ansari women who said, "Best wishes and Allah's Blessing and a good luck." Then she entrusted me to them and they prepared me (for the marriage). Unexpectedly Allah's Apostle came to me in the forenoon and my mother handed me over to him, and at that time I was a girl of nine years of age.
58/236:
Khadija died three years before the Prophet (ﷺ) departed to Medina. He stayed there for two years or so and then he married `Aisha when she was a girl of six years of age, and he consumed that marriage when she was nine years old.
62/64:
the Prophet married her when she was six years old and he consummated his marriage when she was nine years old, and then she remained with him for nine years
If you're attacking this on the basis of criticizing Muhammad al-Bukhari that's definitely a conversation we could have. If it pans out I can see if anyone else besides him had written hadith like this.
What's also important though is to look at who respected MAB and who criticized MAB.
