I fucking swear to fucking Jesus fucking Christ not once in my motherfucking life have I had a PC game, pirated or paid for, that just fucking worked on any fucking computer I've ever fucking used. How do they charge for these things when they don't fucking work for like 50% of users? Install, crash, deep breath, five hours googling solutions every fucking time.

Ok, I got it to work with GeDoSaTo, thank God the problem I had is super common, but that fact it's super common and not fixed since 2014 or whatever only reinforces my complaint.

I hate that too, I bought GTA Vice City on Steam a year or ago or so and couldn´t get it to work but last summer I fixed it and completed it just because nostalgia.

But I can´t enter GTA IV or GTA V because social club is fucking trash and the worst program ever to launch a game I had some problems with GTA V a couple of years ago but made a new account to play but now it don´t work again. And one of my friends also bought GTA IV many years ago when it came out but was never able to play it because their shit system (social club) never works I bet they lose at least 1/3 of their player base because of their shitty game doesn´t work and what is more annoying is the fact I don´t use online at all so why the fuck do I have to enter social club to play single player!!!?

I miss the old days back when playing a game like Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Call of Duty United Offensive, Battlefield 2, Jedi Knight Jedi Academy, Age of Mythology, Max Payne 2, GTA Vice City, GTA San Andreas etc. all of these games among dozens of other games I could just play without any problems the games always worked upon release and I didn´t have any problems with playing single player now if the internet part doesn´t work you can´t play any part of the game I fucking hate the future EVERYTHING is worse now.

Yeah me too, my beef is that the needing to google thing shouldn't be S.O.P. for a mainstream consumer good like vidya games.

I somewhat agree, but its pretty rare at least for me. I used to need to google DLLs and download them from dllfiles since I pirate 100%

Pre 360/PS3 consoles are god tier. Pop and play. 360/PS3 aren't bad but the games are way bigger and sometimes need to be updated online.

PC gaming is as much of a scam as buying a ferrari is.
A mini van gets the job done, costs less and is more convenient than buying a multi hundred thousand dollar car
but put a ferrari and mini van in a race, and you'll know who'll win
PC gaming vs console gaming really just depends on what games you want to play. You only really need a powerful mid - high end machine for newer titles.
Plus consoles are limited to THEIR own games (i'm excusing digital games from other gens) meanwhile PCs can emulate arcades, other PCs and consoles
