On consoles my games just work, literally. They work, and they work well.
They load fast also.

The only gripe I have with consoles is that I can't use a mouse and keyboard since even the latest consoles don't fully support those peripherals in all games.

"But you can't use mods" I hear you say. Fuck your mods. I ain't got time for that shit. I have a life and I have to work for a living. Not everyone can NEET through life.

Tried playing GTA V on my PC just now. Got stuck on the loading screen for the story mode for ONE FUCKING HOUR AND A HALF!!!
Tried several supposed fixes and IT DID NOT FUCKING WORK!

Every PC gamer knows these issues. It is not just GTA V. Any game you do a fresh install of seems to have some kind of issue, at least.

You always have to jump through several motherfucking hoops for a game to launch properly so you can play it.

Also, not a single of my xbox games has ever crashed on me. NOT A SINGLE ONE!!!

The only game on PC that I remember launching for the first time, properly, and running properly, which literally gave me the plug'n'play experience was the Reignited Trilogy of Spyro.

Yes, of all games it was this one that ran FLAWLESSLY on PC.

The older I have gotten the more I have come to detest PC as a gaming platform. It's only redeeming factor for me is that I can use mouse and keyboard as input.

Just fuck this shit. Another evening wasted to ultimately give up on fixing an issue with a PC game.
 
Won't read your seething post pc may not be perfect but it is the best thing that doesn't leave you locked to some gay companies platform. You can actually choose on pc.

Didn't have any of these problems, only got crashes/weird bugs while playing private servers of World of Warcraft with mods, not vanilla games files.

Do you have an SSD or HDD? SDD are pretty cheap today and are way faster than HDD, maybe that is why your games load that slow. HDD are obsolete for today big games.

The game does not load at all. It is a known issue.

The known fixes don't work every time though.

Rockstar is still making HEAPPS of money on this game and they refuse to iron out bugs.

Well, the games i played so far in PC, Starcraft 1, starcraft 2, Warcraft 3, World of Warcraft, Dark Souls 1, 2 and 3 and Elden Ring, 0 of those problems.

Yes games just fucking work. Also can't get hacked or malware/virus after watchung porn and if the PS4 does get corrupted it just rebuilds itself and it's brand new again.
 
PC gaming is inferior to consoles. In order to have a proper gaming experience, you have to fix whatever the fuck that game dev fuck messed up. What would be worse is to find out that the issue you have can't be fixed through settings and you have to install whatever the fuck mod at the small chance of actually fixing your problem. Basically you have to do the dev's job in order to actually have a proper playable experience jfl :feelskek:

Meanwhile with consoles, you just pop in the disc or install whatever game you bought online and just get straight in the action. No bullshit, no nothing. Just you and the game.

And for those fags say that I am shilling consoles, I have played all my life on PC since I was out of the womb till now.

I thought only I experienced that bullshit. FINALLY some reassurance that its not just me who can NEVER just open the game and play peacefully. always some fucking issue upon first launch.

Yeah, I am a PC gamer. I did start with the NES and Playstation, admittedly, but I switched to PC at the young age of 13. In my time that was early.

I am 38 now and it was newer a smooth experience on PC. There always something. And I have had all kinds of hardware throughout the years. What is really bothering me is the inconsistency in performance of some games.

Nowadays, after a long day at work, managing three machines at once, I just want to relax and plug'n'play.

My xbox one s (upgraded with an SSD) runs everything like a charm. Even the framerate appears to be more stable overall.

Yes, Microsoft sucks ballss, but at least the gaming experience is in point, even today.

Pop in a disc and a few seconds laer I am all in.

And they too have sales on a regular basis. Compared ro PS or Nintendo the selection isn't that bad.

I will get gamepass this week and I've already got several games on my wishlist to try out.

You can even check out the games on the gamepass list before you decide whether it is worth it for you or not
 
Fair enough. Part of why I enjoy PC gaming is making shit work, but I know that's not for everyone.

Thats the price you have to pay to enjoy the luxury of having mods, emulators, having way cheaper games (or just crack them) and being able to do a lot more with a PC than just gaming
 
I also prefer consoles.
it's much easier to fap to lets go eevee with a console

What is worse is that apparently this problem also appeared on consoles.

Imagine that shit. Even if you wanted to try to fix it, you couldn't do ANYTHING because consoles are a closed platform. Can't just modify some files or so.

I had to switch to console too since I had so many fucking issues with my pc. Shit would just not work 75% of the time. Console is very reliable, only con is you can't put mods on it. Truthfully I don't really want any mods except the nude ones, lol.
 
Have to agree, A Console and a Laptop> only PC.
 
Converted from ps4 to PC . Pirating Games is pretty cool . And Games are generally Cheaper
 
The only console I ever owned was a PS2, and oh boy was it amazing. I agree, the plug and play experience is better there. But ever since I've only played on pc and well, I haven't had as many issues as you stated. Maybe we just have played different games.
 
Playing online games on console is too expensive these days. You have to pay $100+ every year for membership.

THPS 1+2 remake = no issues (Pirated/gamepad works fine)
Installed ys x on new patch from scratch = zero issues (Pirated/gamepad works fine)
System Shock 2 remaster = zero issues (Pirated/m+kb works fine)
Raidou = zero issues (Steam/gamepad works fine)
Soulstone Survivor = zero issues (Pirated/m+kb)
Gundam remasted = zero issues (Pirated/gpad)
Tomb Raider 1-3 = zero issues (GOG/honestly both controls are fine i still can't decide if i want to use gp or old school m+kb)
Persona 3 Reloaded = zero issues (GayPass/gpad)
Against the Storm = zero issues (GayPass/m+kb)
Gunner Heat PC = zero issues (Steam/m+kb)
BOTW on Cemu = zero issues (gpad)
Blade Runner = zero issues besides game being blurry as fuck since it's an old game so without some kind of filter or crt it's not that playable (Pirated Gog ver/m+kb)
Postal 2 = zero issues (Steam/m+kb)
Anno 1404 = zero issues (Gog/m+kb)
Even old ass games like Most wanted/Carbon from 2005/2006 i had barely any issues besides setting up resolution but one simple mod fixed it.

It seems like you are either too unlucky or want to find excuse to hate on PC like a bitch.
