Jesus was hated by society

There once lived a man, unlike others in society.
Through kindness and compassion he gained notoriety.
Refusing greed he rejected all common propriety.

Realizing a vaster picture he did his very best,
Spreading wisdom and kindness, he was surely blessed.
A man in the flesh, possessing a spirit powerfully expressed.

He spoke truths many others refused to ever hear.
Since the wisdom he spread was humble and sincere.
People seem to prefer selfishness, so they commonly sneered.

He saw what was wrong collectively with us,
And its something our society refuses to ever discuss.
But its imperative to mention, if we've got the guts.

Profit above all, this has derailed the natural joys of life.
To live for selfishness and profit, this will cause only eternal strife.
Only those willing to awaken to caring will ever realize this fact.
Created to help each other, with human kindness kept intact.
