I'm not sure if this has ever happened to anybody but it scares me.

Not just your parents, anyone can say you're suicidal or an imminent threat to harm them, and you can be involuntarily held.

It's unlikely because someone has to pay for this and it's very expensive.

You'd probably be let out quickly once they look at you, but you'd still have to go through the process and lose freedom.
