I cannot sleep for more than 4 hours.

I haven’t slept for more than 4 hours without the aid of multiple sedatives for like 2 years. My eyes burn like crazy and I’ve lost 30+ lbs. no sleepcels what do you do in these situations? Can’t even LDAR
 
haven't sleep more than about 4 hours myself either in years. i typically nap in about 2 hour intervals throughout the day sometimes i get 1-2 in other days i get more but i cannot sustain any long peroid of sleep beyond my 2 hours
 
I pull at least 2 all nighters a week. There was once a time for me where I truly had a flipped circadian rhythm where I was only awake at night

Used to go for night walks but I don’t feel like being assaulted by some draug. I also haven’t dreamed in something like 7 years so I don’t even get to escape reality. Something has to been neurologically wrong with us right?

I do that often too but i get too much pain in my back from laying down so i can't stay in one spot too long so i'm constantly pacing or moving around when i cannot sleep.

also haven't dreamed in I don't even know how long probably been close to a decade at this point. I think my last dream was sometime as a child.

I still like to go on nightwalk i'm thankful i haven't been assaulted yet. brutal that you have I would carry something for protection if you can when you go out

Brother I’m well past melatonin. My sleep hygiene is excellent; no late meals, no caffeine, black out curtains, ear plugs, weighted blanket, cool temp, 30 min wind down, no screens, expensive ass floor mattress, in bed by 11 every night. Benzos, no wanking, remelteon. I’m just fucked

Im getting sleep study soon. I have tried what you’re talking about though, no drop in my blood oxygen to signal apnea. Though im pretty recessed so its not unlikely I have a constricted airway. JFL

I used to spam melatonin like 10 years ago, just gave me crazy nausea and handover like grogginess.

I've had sleep problems and insomnia for 13 years. Still trying to fix my sleep. Until about a year or two ago I had non-24, which means my sleep schedule rotated around the clock 1 hour later every day, like I might go to bed at 10 PM, then 11 PM tomorrow, 12 AM the next day, and then in 12 days I'm going to bed at 10 AM and then 12 days after that it's back to 10 PM. The Internet said only blind people have non-24 but I'm not blind. I was taking 200 mg/day Luvox at the time though.

Melatonin does zero for me

Using a light therapy lamp at 7 AM or whatever the desired wakeup time is, and then staying awake all day until my desired bedtime, was kinda helpful though.
