What people do not realize is the fact that the modern racial category of "white" is 100% an american construction used to group people of a similar ethnic background in a foreign land (the N American continent). So the fact that the one person says X-nationality is or isn't white is irrelevant.
It is all subjective because there is no clear definition for the term. At some point the Irish were not considered white, the fucking ginger Irish who can't stay 5 minutes in direct sun without burning up.....

So honestly I don't know why such terms are relevant today, ethnic groups are more precise and they actually base themselves on a geographical and physical definition.
