So let's say a left wing game developer creates a feminist social justice baiting game. Depending on the type of game and how much freedom the player has, there are other options when it comes to how you look at it. This is seen in politically incorrect names and imagery and voice chat in basically every multiplayer game and most singleplayer games, regardless of how "inclusive" the devs tried to make the game. Especially in open world games with quest systems and branching paths, the devs lose control of the basic message. This is why GTA5 is mostly Chink hackers and edgy teens running over black hookers with cars. Take a game like Skyrim or a series like Fallout. In Fallout New Vegas, a lot of incels and alt righters and etc etc started to identify with Caesar's Legion and it became so pervasive that it's seen as a "go-to" game even for the far right, despite the fact that there's no evidence Bethesda actually intended to create an Evola wet dream. Or Europa Universalis or Hearts of Iron, which are both famous for allowing you to act out fascist or monarchic fantasies, despite the dev themselves being Swedish cucks. My point I guess is that video games are unique among media types, in that most of the time, if the player has any choice or agency whatsoever, they can change the story and their character to fit their own ideas of themselves and the world.
So, no matter how gay a dev is or what dumb shit they put in a game, there's almost always a way to de-normify the experience for the consummate incel gamer. While I prefer film and literature to vidya, this is certainly an advantage of gaming, because if a movie tries to shove bullshit down your throat, there's no good way to give it back to the faggot filmmakers so you just have to sit their and take their stupid pandering like a bitch
