Anytime I try to take a step back and describe what bothers me about being incel, I can only do so in a roundabout way. I would say things about how I feel alienated, not able to integrate with normal people, those of whom tantalize and ostracize me as I go about my day. I would talk about the emptiness I feel, like something is missing from my life that can never be attained, with all hope inevitably squashed. These don't get to the core of what it's like, and I think it is impossible to truly put this feeling into words.
It's like being wedged between two brick walls. Some react angrily and curse their situation, but most people cool down revealing this core feeling. Defeat? Sadness? I'm not sure. What I do know is that it's something we all share.
