i own a black one from ebay and i wear it whenever i go out.
mainly because its freezing as fuck outside rn, and also its great at hiding my receded scalp, especially when i wear my hood up beneath it.
i always have the flaps on the side undone too.
i don't see a whole lot of people wearing these hats in the uk, when i do see them, their rare.

I like ushanka hats and I have one, I wear it if there's around -20 degree celsius or colder when I have to spend more time outdoors. I want a real russian model, the exact model used by local authorities. I like it's shape especially when the flaps are tied on top.
