Opinions On Psychiatry? Does it help society or destroys it?

I studied Psychiatry more than enough as a Graduate Sociologist and came to the conclusion that it still has not got rid its eugenics morals, divides different people with dissented views with labels.

What is your opinion on that science? Do you think it actually helps people or it is mostly a pseudoscience rooted in Authoritarian handling of patients that just isolates different people at their houses?

What is different from eugenics when they classify hereditary predisposition in a patient saying that he may had inherited the psychiatric disease from his/her parents?
What is different from eugenics when they classify dissent as pathology?

They try to create their own bubble in the world when everything looks fine for them while the world faces extreme rise on depression?
