I pulled my blackouts back a bit and opened the window the other night, was nice. First time a window in my room has been opened this year for sure

i have a big ass window, if i open the window anyone in the street will be looking at me doing shit. the lighting situation in here is bad as well. i use a ring light its always on.
if i open the window i feel unsafe i never know when someone will be jumping though trying to steal my shit. i get really paranoid i feel like im always being watched. that's why i keep my desk just behind the window even though the blinds are closed 24/7 i tried and couldn't shrug the unease feeling of having my back facing the window. i just haven't added security cams outside because im poor otherwise i'd have done it and would have a whole screen to keep tabs on whats going on outside.
All noises cars and people that walk outside i stop what im doing to listen see if it stops does something unusual.
I guess it's a psychological thing. I wouldn't say i feel like a targeted individual (TI) because i point and laugh at them but i can relate.
