It's quite depressing to listen to love music, not because it reminds us of someone or because we identify with the lyrics, worse, because we have no one to think about. Those songs weren't made for us
For example, I love Cigarettes after sex, but all their songs are about love so I can't identify with them. Sometimes I read the comments on youtube about these songs, people narrating their stories, remembering those they loved, etc. It feels horrible to have no one to think about, not to be able to remember a story whether it's beautiful or sad, we just don't have anything
