LDAR One of my few copes is lost to me

The xbox is the best console, and I was playing sonic x shadow generations on it and then, for no reason at all, my fucking controller stopped working. I assumed it was just in need of batteries but no, not even new batteries work, not a usb or anything. It is probably a hardware issue which pisses me off. Now I have to waste a small fortune on a new xbox controller

Every single controller stopped working? I hope it's not related to the console which might be the reason, tho i never heard of a console not recognizing any controller anymore.
