Finding a used camry or accord in good condition especially if it’s an older car is the most practical imo because the asian built stuff is usually better than American build quality. Small pickup trucks are pretty reliable too if they have a manual transmission even if they’re American made

In my experience the older commuter and newer cars that were Asian are a lot more reliable, especially the automatic transmissions. American trucks are pretty good and can last but in terms of normal cars the Asian ones can go to 3-400k miles with major work done and the
