i did some ubereats in london today and i had this order at around 4pm. 3 Scoops of Icecream, a Waffle and a Cookie dough. the order needed a pin from the customer to be completed. when i delivered to her it was this 50 year old landwhale and she refused to give me the number. ubereats company policy is to not handover the food until putting down the code.
she said she is going to verify everything before giving me the code. the food was in a stapled paper bag. turns out she got pancakes instead of the waffle cause the restaurant was incompetent. she started screaming at me and refused to tell me the code to end the order. i tried to explain to her that the order will not be completed if she does not give me the code. she tried to grab me (im very skinny and short btw). another foid (seemed to be her carer, like a nurse or something she was a htb) came outside from the flat and stopped her. the htb took her phone and gave me the code.
if the htb carer did not come she would have probably physically attacked me
