apparently it's only for GTA online i believe but idk.

It seems pretty dumb because it's the parents who buy games for them (since most kids don't have bank accounts or income) so this is really uncessary. Every game has an age rating so parents can see if this is appropriate or not for their child.

Besides, if people don't buy their games because of this they'll lose money and see that "yeah cuz of this new AV thing lots of our userbase is gone" so they may remove this however I think most would just comply and hand over their IDs anyway.
