Nuu Monster Hunter slows down Monster speed

I think cooldown after attack is much longer for some reason, not the attack speed itself. Or maybe it may be bug since sometimes they wait for too long doing nothing. Knowing Crapcom and their shitty coders it may be the real explanation since they are absolutely trash at their job. I wish we could have a source code of both games so we could see AI behavior. Actually monsters in Rise with attacks travel larger distances so you can get hit easier if not dodging but then they will stay there not doing anything for far too long.

rise. its leagues better than world/iceborne with a better roster, mechanics, doesnt waste your time, etc. all the older games are cool, sure, and theyre pieces of gaming history, but god almighty will you waste your time playing them. takes forever to do anything in old mh games.

That's the point. Monster Hunter isn't supposed to be a mindless action game. Plus, in MH3 you don't need to spend that much time prepping because you have the farm. Rise significantly slows down the monsters. I was playing it last night and it was amazing how easy attacks were to avoid. All I had to do was walk. I played Generations afterwards to compare.

thats why i love rise. the game respects my time and allows me to get to grips with it because i fucking suck at videogames. the later fights like the variants for the flagships are monkeynuts and i love them. just a shame all the good fights are locked behind the shit anomaly grind.

on that note, MHR does not slow down monsters, fuckers like magnamalo and zinogre are (imo) crazy fast for such a slow combat system.
