When your face is unattractive the human species feels a deep sense of disgust, disdain and dislike towards you upon viewing your face. People form their perceptions of others based on first impressions and rarely change it afterwards. Therefore no matter how well you interact with the person, they won't care, they are hardwired to want to avoid, distrust and despise you. The only exception is when the person is famous or pitiable, in this case people pretentiously virtue signal but deep down they won't like or care about you. Sometimes this effect might be slightly mitigated by having good social skills, but subconsciously people still don't want to be around you even if you are charming and charismatic. Subconscious feelings dictate conscious actions, so you will still be unable to make friends or have a normal social status.
This goes way beyond just sexual reproduction or women, even other straight men feel the same way.
