Exactly my experience. I suck at any kind of sports. People here are very obsessed with working out and being athletic, the athletes were always the most popular guys in school and the ones picked last in sports were the bullied ones. If you look at those guys in the gym, some of them are ugly, but they still get girls because of their body or their strength. If you're bad at sports, it is considered to be unmanly and weak.

No matter how much human society has changed over the past 10,000 years, we are still basically hunter gatherers in Africa as far as evolution is concerned. Running fast, climbing trees, and fighting off predators is really all that matters.

I sprint 3x a week and I am God-damn faster and more explosive than everyone I have met (only college sprinters are quicker than me) I played sports for 5 hours a day outside during my entire childhood and dominated every single one, soccer, basketball, track and field, you name it. My reaction time is 150 God-damn milliseconds measured by a gym teacher in high-school.

None of it matters for sex.
