I've noticed so many normies oppose Palantir, the PATRIOT Act, the NSA, the CIA, using their powers to spy when they're actually targeting Iranian funded proxies and extremist organizations. Iran has been funding terror cells in the West for the longest time, and since we weren't directly at war with Iran until recently, there wasn't much our intelligence agencies could do about it besides using these spyware tools to track down, arrest, and interrogate (torture) the suspects of terror. The Battle of Algers beautifully explains that how terror is fought is not via bulk warefare, it is through spying and torture. Torture is how wars are won, as any information can be acquired via the use of torture.
Normies oppose all this, but they LOVE the idea of the FBI tracking down Incels who make misogynistic comments online. They're ok with using these tools on harmless people who vent their frustrations with women, but not on actual enemy terrorcels who are doing this. I've seen IT, a supposedly Liberal subreddit, joke that Incels should be waterboarded by intelligence agencies.
