So this video was recommended to me on YouTube, and when I saw it I immediately recognized it for what it was which is normies bullying their school's lolcow and attempting to get him to say something stupid or offensive for them to laugh at. To break it down the one black kid is saying "we want dark humor we want a dark joke" with the expected response being the weird kid saying something racist or offensive so they can clip it and then they would be justified in further bullying him because "he racist" or whatever. The weird kid ends up turning off the lights as a "dark joke" and they all howl and laugh, but it's obvious to anyone who has been at the receiving end of any type of bullying or mockery that they are laughing at him
The reason I wanted to make a thread was because this is a perfect example of how normies tactics of bullying has shifted. Schools, or at least the ones I went to, are a lot stricter when it comes to direct physical or verbal abuse. Combine that with the fact that that overt bullying would probably be seen as "corny" or trying to hard by most zoomers now and you get this subtle and covert way many zoomers bully now, which is why I named this thread "asymmetrical bullying." They are attempting to bait him into saying something dumb or offensive so he gets in trouble or looks stupid but they wouldn't be held responsible because they never said anything directly to him. If he says or does something too offensive or "wrong" then they can also go further because he has done something normies deem as evil such as being racist or being misogynistic and so any action against him would be fine. Here is another example, where zoomers in college are bullying and laughing at the lolcow Daniel Larson. Notice how it's the exact same type of behavior, letting him do and say stupid shit without overtly verbally or physically abusing him too much. They do throw some minor insults "you might have a disease or something" but it's still nonchalant, they are staying aloof and maintaining plausible deniability. Also, with Daniel Larson, to normies it's justified anyways because, like I said, he's already done something the hive mind says is wrong so any action against him is sanctioned.

Now I am well aware verbal and physical bullying does still occur and many people here have probably suffered from it, I am not trying to claim this doesn't exist anymore or asymmetrical bullying is somehow worse. But this is a new form of bullying that flies under the radar because most of the schools are too retarded and don't care so they can get away with it

School shootings were what forced schools to crack down on open bullying in the first place, they only started caring about people being abused and beaten when the violence was turned back around on them
