First off, they are normies, they just aren't important enough to be in a rush. Secondly be present, just enjoy where you are and take your time. Don't be this butthurt male who is rushing to 'get ahead'. Again, they are normies they are never going to be Chads.

It's the opposite for me usually. But I guess that's because of autism. I want to get to the point asap while normies love to waste time with small talk. Ideally I would talk to them like writing instructions for a bot.
