When a normie says "I love science" he probably means he likes the clickbait site "I fucking love science" or watching youtube videos explaining astronomy or physics but very simplified, like for little kids They're like my 20 year old cousin with aspies, who claims he's a scientific genius because he has memorized the names of several planets and stars, but can't even solve a polynomial kek.

co worker brought up evolution once and we got into a discussion about it but some buzz-cut cancer patient looking karen in the store got super mad and started lecturing us on how god created the world and we are sons of jesus or something, i find discussions about religion more cringy tbh because its full grown adults that genuinely believe some retarded mystical entity is flying around in the sky judging us 24/7
