If you go to the doctor and are diagnosed with an STD, should they be able to add your name to a website? If this website existed then I could check and see if my partner has something.

The one time someone actually has a great idea (who wants to rely on some slut's word alone? Plenty of people have lied about being STD-free, endless threads on Reddit), white knights have to shut it down with "muh privacy," "false positives," and "slut shaming." We're in the middle of an STD epidemic. We live in a world where there is a public database for rapists, even those who may have been falsely accused. Why isn't there a public database for STDs?

Can you imagine being a dumb 16 year old and not using a condom and ending up with chlamydia and ending up on some website for your whole school to see/know about?
